CTS Eventim generated €473.3 million in ticketing revenue in the first half of 2026 and posted €172.5 million in adjusted EBITDA, a 36.4% margin. Its Live Entertainment segment, covering the concerts it promotes, brought in €1,061 million and left €52.9 million in adjusted EBITDA: 5.0%. The results were published on 20 August 2026.

CTS Eventim posted €172.5 million in adjusted EBITDA from ticketing in the first half of 2026 — 36.4% of the €473.3 million the segment brought in. Its Live Entertainment segment, covering the concerts it promotes, brought in €1,061 million and returned €52.9 million in adjusted EBITDA: 5.0%.

The figures are in the results statement published in Munich on 20 August. The group posted revenue of €1,513 million, up 16.9% on the same period in 2025, with adjusted EBITDA of €225.4 million (+12.4%), and maintains its guidance for the year. Another figure from the same statement: ticketing revenue grew 13.9% and its adjusted EBITDA, 3.4%.

One set of results shows both faces of live entertainment. The intermediary selling the ticket keeps 36 cents of EBITDA for every euro it takes in; the promoter staging the concert keeps five. Because it's the same company, the comparison doesn't rest on two different sets of accounts. Live Entertainment grew faster (revenue +18.6%, adjusted EBITDA +57.1%), but it starts from such a low base that it remains a volume business; ticketing is a margin business. In Spain, the live-entertainment box office is tracked by the APM yearbook; these results show the other side.

There's a precedent for the German promoter. On 4 December 2017 the Bundeskartellamt banned CTS Eventim from exclusivity agreements with promoters and advance sales points that forced them to sell solely, or for a substantial share, through Eventim.net; it ruled this an abuse of dominant position and gave four months to amend the contracts. The specific requirement: in contracts lasting more than two years or open-ended, Eventim's partners had to be able to sell at least 20% of their annual ticket volume through third-party systems of their choosing. At the time, according to the authority, between 60% and 70% of tickets sold in Germany through ticketing systems went through Eventim. Eventim announced it would take the matter to court, according to Legal Tribune Online; the outcome of that appeal is not recorded in the sources consulted.

In Spain, the group runs entradas.com, its B2C platform, and fully integrated See Tickets in 2025, with the B2B business unified under a single brand, according to the company itself. Eventim states that entradas.com ranked first in the 'Tickets' category in January 2025, with close to 2.9 million monthly visits. The group reports more than 25 countries, more than 300 million tickets a year, and €2,800 million in revenue in 2024. That's the scale a Spanish promoter runs into when looking for alternatives to Ticketmaster.
